There is an old adage that says “It’s not what you spend, it’s what you keep.” I really believe in this. So, when I found that there were ways for you and your family to enjoy doing things in and round Kansas City that would actually save money, I just KNEW I had to share it.
I came across this link which contains TONS of printable coupons for museums, attractions and theme parks around the metro area. Most of them are 2-for-1 deals where the child admission is free when an adult admission is purchased.
They all do expire, but some of them not until the end of the year. Here are a few that I noticed:
The Kansas City Zoo: Buy one adult admission and get a child’s admission for FREE
World War I Museum: Buy one admission, get one FREE (lesser admission is free)
Union Station – Narnia/Science City: Purchase one Narnia exhibit ticket and get a FREE Science City ticket
C.W. Parker Carousel Museum: Get one adult tour and carousel ride for only $5.00 with the purchase of the same.
Kansas City Royals: Buy One Ticket – Get one Free (use the code DKC1 at checkout)
There are so many more than this, but these are just a few that I noticed. So, while planning your last minute family staycation, head on over here and see if there is a great place you can all go and not break the bank!
