Toyota Recall

In case you have not heard, Toyota is recalling over 3.8 million vehicles. The reason is due to a floor mat that can come loose and catch on the accelerator causing it to get stuck and the vehicles to crash. There are several different years and models that are affected. You can review the entire press release and also find a list of the vehicles included here. Toyota hasn’t contacted any owners as of yet, but you could expect to hear from them the first part of next week.

Looks like Burger King also now has coupon booklets for sale for $1.00 each. These contain 8 coupons good for free value sized french fries. These coupons are valid from October 1st through December 31, 2009. Maybe another way to take care of your Halloween Trick or Treaters!

Coupon Training and Swap Anyone?

I was thinking about doing something fun to help you learn more about the great world of couponing AND ditch those coupons you have in your stash that you know you will never use! However, before I take the time to co-ordinate a meeting location, I would like to know if this is something that any of you would be interested in taking part in.

If you live in or around Kansas City and would be interested in driving to Raymore to attend a free class, just leave me a comment. I do not yet have a date confirmed, but it looks like it would be early November, so keep that in mind.

If I have at least 10 people say they would love this, then I’ll get this booked and set up our first “Penny Pincher in Training” meeting. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!!
