I was recently contacted by Tony’s Pizza about trying their product and completing a review about it for my readers.   My children love pizza so I figured it would be nice to spend about 5 minutes prepping dinner and giving them something they’d love.  So I figured, why not!

The first thing I noticed when I picked up my pizza from the store was the back of the box.  There is a coupon for FREE bowling on it!  That basically makes your pizza free!  WOO HOO!

When I opened the box and read the cooking instructions, I was actually surprised that I was to just set the pizza on my oven rack without a pan.  That makes clean up even better (gotta love easy clean up).  I placed the 4 Cheese and Pepperoni pizzas in the oven and set the timer for 12 minutes and went and played with the kids.  Let me say that was nice to not have to stand in the kitchen and cook that evening.

We pulled them out of the oven and my hubby proceeded to cut them, with the cute little pizza cutter we received from Tony’s.  I was surprised to hear that little “crunch” when he cut into the pizza – I expected soggy crust.

My kids gobbled it up — but I could give them just about any pizza and they’d eat it, so their opinion probably really matters very little.  My husband said that it wasn’t like pizzeria shoppe pizza (but no frozen pizza ever is), but that it wasn’t too bad.  He was actually surprised.

I too was surprised.  I normally do not eat frozen pizza when I make it for the kids.  The sauce tends to taste different and it just isn’t really that great, in my opinion.   This pizza wasn’t too bad, though.  The sauce actually had real flavor and it wasn’t overly “tomato-ey” (if that is such a word).

The crust was not even the least bit soggy.  Of course, I am a thick pan pizza girl at heart, but this worked well to give my family something quick and easy to eat.  So would I eat it again???   Surprisingly, yes.  Although, I wouldn’t eat more than once every month or two.

The great people at Tony’s Pizza provided me with some free coupons to try their product.  Of course, I don’t wanna keep them all – I want to SHARE them with my amazing readers!  I have 6 free pizza coupons that I want to pass along to 6 lucky readers!  Yep – 6 of you will win this time!!!

To win, you just need to answer a simple question:  What do you do to help make dinner time quick and easy?    Just leave a comment below to share your response.  If you have won something within the past 30 days, you are ineligible to win this time around.

This giveaway will close Monday morning (May 10th) at 9:00 a.m.  I’ll use random.org to select the winners and contact you via email to get your mailing information.

Thanks — and GOOD LUCK!!!

(Penny Pinchin’ Mom was provided with a pizza cutter and 10 free product coupons by Tony’s Pizza.  She opted to keep 4 coupons and pass the other 6 along to her readers.  These free items did not in any way influence the opinions in this post – they are all 100% original and mine.  Thank you to Tony’s Pizza for sponsoring this giveaway.)

I’m a leftovers girl. I always make extra so that we can have it again later in the week and my hubby has something cheap and filling to take for lunch!
