Borders: 40% & 33% Savings Offers + New Rewards Program

There are two new coupons available from Borders - 40% off of one item and 33% off of one item.  The 40% off of one item coupon is good only in the stores through September 6th.     

You can also save 33% off of one item either in the stores or on-line through September 6th.  If you do shop on-line at Borders.com, just use the code BUY8211E.  You will need to input your Rewards Number information in order to get this savings. If you elect shipping to store, you won’t even pay for shipping costs — or spend over $25.00 and get it shipped for free!

If you do decide to shop on-line, you’ll want to go through Shop at Home where you will earn 7% cash back & a $5.00 first purchase bonus, Ebates which will give you 4% cash back + a $5.00 first time purchase bonus; and Mr. Rebates will also pay you 4% cash back + a $5.00 first purchase bonus.

There is also a new Borders Rewards Plus program that has an annual fee of $20.00.  The benefits of this new program are free shipping ALWAYS, plus 40% off of hardcover best sellers, 20% off of select hardcovers and 10% off of most everything else — always.  If you spend lots at Borders all year long, it might be a great financial decision to go ahead and pay the $20.  I would make sure that you will make back your $20 or more during the year before you signed up.
