CVS: Free Kotex & Great Deal on Chips

This post may contain affiliate links. Read my disclosure policy here.

by Tracie on July 31, 2011 · 3 comments

Make sure you scan your card when you go into CVS!  There are a couple of really good coupons popping out that will help you score some great deals!

One of them is for Free U by Kotex Pantiliner, 18 ct. (up to $1.77 in value).    These may be priced lower than this in your store ($1.49 in some locations), so don’t be surprised if the cashier has to manually adjust the coupon down to the actual product price.

U by Kotex Pantinliers, $1.49 – $1.77
Use FREE U by Kotex CVS Coupon
Final Price: FREE

Another coupon is for $2/1 Gold Emblem Chips, Cheese Snacks or Pretzels, 11 oz.  These are priced around $2.57 in most stores, so that means cheap chips!

Use $2/1 Gold Emblem Chips CVS coupon

Walgreens: Beginning Transactions (Includes Test Market)

This post may contain affiliate links. Read my disclosure policy here.

by Tracie on July 30, 2011 · 2 comments

New to shopping at Walgreens?  Knowing how to use those Register Rewards can be quite overwhelming, but that’s where I come in.  Below you will find out to run a few transactions to put your money to work for you.  Since many of the coupons that are in the matchups expire tomorrow, July 31st, I didn’t include them here (in case you can’t get there in time).  I did list ONE super deal for you — just in case you shop on Sunday!

Oh — and if you live within the test market regions (Kansas City, Portland or Richmond), you can even find some deals for you here as well!

NON-TEST MARKET TRANSACTIONS

TRANSACTION #1

$ 2.00 Crayola Washable Markers, 8 ct
$2.00 out of pocket + recieve $2 in RR

TRANSACTION #2

$ 2.00 Good HairProduct
-  2.00 RR earned from Transaction #1
$0.00 out of pocket + receive $2 in RR

TRANSACTION #3

$ 5.00 2 Oral-B Advantage Toothbrushes
    2.00 Crayola Washable Markers, 8 ct
-  4.00 2 $2/1 Oral-B Toothbrushes 7/3/2011 P&G Insert – EXPIRES 7/31/2011
-  2.00 RR Earned from Tranaction #2
$1.00 out of pocket + receive $2 in RR for Oral-B and $2 in RR for Markers

or

$ 5.00 2 Crest Toothpastes
    0.11  Wexford Folder (using as a filler item)
-  1.50 2 $0.75/1 Crest Toothpaste 7/31/2011 P&G Insert
-  2.00 RR Earned from Tranaction #2
$1.61  + receive $2 in RR

You will then have purchased:

Goody Hair Colour Products
2 Crayola Washable Markers
2 Oral-B Toothbrushes

(or – if you don’t shop on Sunday to use the Oral-B coupon — you will have only 1 Crayola Marker, 1 Folder and 2 Crest toothpastes)

The total you will have paid out of your own pocket will be $3.61 and you will have $4 in RR to spend, making it a net PROFIT of $0.39 for all of these items!

TEST MARKET REGION

TRANSACTION #1

$ 2.00 Good HairProduct
$2.00 out of pocket + receive $2 in RR

TRANSACTION #2

$ 5.00 2 Oral-B Advantage Toothbrushes
    2.00 Crayola Washable Markers, 8 ct
-  4.00 2 $2/1 Oral-B Toothbrushes 7/3/2011 P&G Insert – EXPIRES 7/31/2011
-  2.00 RR Earned from Tranaction #2
$1.00 out of pocket + receive $2 in RR for toothbrushes and 600 points for Crayola Markers

or

$ 5.00 2 Crest Toothpastes
    0.11  Wexford Folder (using as a filler item)
-  1.50 2 $0.75/1 Crest Toothpaste 7/31/2011 P&G Insert
-  2.00 RR Earned from Tranaction #2
$1.61  + receive $2 in RR

In these scenarios, you will have purchased:

Goody Hair Colour Product
Crayola Markers
2 Oral-B Toothbrushes

(If purchasing after Sunday, then would have 2 Crest Toothpastes and a folder rather than Crayola Markers & toothbrushes)

You will have paid a total of  $3.61 out of pocket and still have $2 in RR, netting a total of $1.61 spent.  You will also have 600 points to use towards the required 2000 points for a $5 coupon (which equates to $1.50) — if you are able to grab those Crayola Markers.
