I swear that I’m a huge kid at heart.  I love cartoons, coloring, candy and staying in my jammies all day.  When it comes to a cookout, I also prefer a hot dog over anything else you can cook on the grill. Yes, I know I’m probably a little nuts, but it’s the truth.

That’s lead me to become a connoisseur of sorts when it comes to franks.  I know what I like.  I love a dog that plumps and stays juicy and does not dry out on the grill.  It has to taste good too.  One brand that I really do purchase frequently is Ball Park Franks – because it meets some of my “hot dog criteria”.

As an adult, I still love these things.  However, there are things that are more important than just loading it up with mustard and savoring the flavor.  For me, it is about what is INSIDE that matters.   Ball Park Franks are made with high quality beef, no fillers, no artificial colors or flavors, no by-products and best of all (for me) – NO MSG!  I personally prefer my dogs steamed, but cooked on the grill ranks a pretty close second.

With “unofficial” end of summer looming on Monday, it is the perfect time to throw some on the grill yourself and celebrate back to school, fall and all that will soon follow.
