30 Day Shred – Day 10 Check-In

This morning I officially hit the 1/3rd mark of the 30 Day Shred program!  I’ve had some set backs that prevented me from doing the program a few times, but I am keeping on track and will hit my 30 days of workouts! 

The one thing I have noticed since I’ve been doing this workout is that I feel better all the way around.  I want to eat more healthy.  I am happier.  My energy level has increased.  I can even think more clearly!  Of course, I had read that these things can happen when you start a workout regiment.  However, I wasn’t sure if it was just hype or not.  I’m here to say that it is absolutely true! 

Now, I intially said that my goal was to just feel better and to tone my body.  Losing weight was not my personal goal.  However, I am actually shedding some weight – go figure!  I thought I’d just check in and update you with some stats of changes I have realized after 10 days of doing this program:

Weight Loss: 1.4 lbs
Inches Lost on Waist:  1.5″
Inches Lost on Hips: 1″
Inches Lost in Chest:  1″

I am just amazed at what I am seeing happening!  Now, I need some super deals on clothes because it looks like I’m gonna need to pick up a few new things!  How are you doing?  Share your accomplishments — that can help us ALL stay motivated!

    That’s great! I’ve done the workout about 8 times, but I had to take the last few days off. Believe it or not, I actually gained a pound! I think that’s why I’ve been slacking off lately….why work that hard to gain weight??? Although during my 2 day break, I’ve noticed that I’m not nearly as energetic and don’t feel as tough & strong as I do when I’m sweating with Jillian. Hopefully I can get back to it tonight! I just need to keep telling myself that muscle weighs more than fat!!

    Way to go! that’s awesome!
    i’ve had to take a wk and a half break so far 🙁 my legs started hurting really bad like that last time i tried to do it for 30days…idk why thou it sucks thou! 🙁 they feel better now so im going to start back up tomorrow! so 2 1/2 more weeks to go 😀

    i have noticed my leg muscles and arm muscles are getting toned up nicely, i dont know if i’ve lost anything thou, my scale isnt working lol
