There are never enough ways to say thank you to our Military and their families. However, The Interior Department announced yesterday that beginning this Saturday, a yearly pass will be available to members of the military and their families for FREE. This also happens to be Armed Forces Day. The America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreation Lands Annual Pass usually costs $80. Families will have access to more than 2,000 national parks, wildlife refuges and other public lands. If you are not a member of the military, please share this post with those that could benefit from the pass, as a simple way to say Thank You!
If you ARE a Military Family just go to any National Park or other location listed beginning Saturday May 19th, or any time after, & bring your military ID to get your park pass.

Thank You, Thrifty Northwest Mom
