Cents of Style Deal of the Day: Day 1 of FinCon

I am attending a Financial Bloggers conference this weekend (Dad is on duty with the kids).  I attend a few conferences annually and the problem I always run into is what to wear.  Let’s face it, being a stay at home / work from home mom is nice.  However, the wardrobe tends to suffer.  I own plenty of shorts and t-shirts, but very few things that make me feel good.  I know I should, but I always buy for myself last.

However, when it comes to attending a conference, it is my chance to actually spend some money on myself.  I don’t have a lot of it — and even if I did I would still search for a bargain.  I went to a new resource to help me just bring my outfits together — Cents of Style.  I have not been using this site for long, but have to admit that I am in LOVE with their stuff!  It is all trendy, but not expensive.  It allows women to be able to afford to add those finishing touches to their outfits without having to experience buyer’s remorse!

So, what did we do to pull this outfit together.  4 simple things – bracelet, necklace, earrings and shoes.  I actually found all of these items over at Cents of Style!  They’ve actually given me a personal code that you can use to save 15% off and get FREE SHIPPING!!  Just use the coupon code PENNYPINCHIN for your discount to apply.      Here are two of the items I am wearing today:

Thesis-92 patent ballet flat shoe – $23.60

Eve gold  textured cuff – $10.60

And here is my finished outfit!  I think I’ve stepped out of my mom wardrobe – what do you think?

Penny Pinchin’ Mom received items to wear in exchange for this post.  All opinions are her own and were not influenced by any parties.

You look great. I love the shoes, they are dressy enough for your dress but they really look comfortable. Especially if you’re doing a lot of walking at a conference. Have fun!
