Summer Movie Programs

If you are interested in catching some  movies with your children this summer, there are some summer movie programs available.  You’ll need to check to see if these are anywhere close to where you live.  If not, just contact your local theatre to see if they have anything planned, as many of them do.

One of them is Cinemark’s Summer Movie Clubhouse!  You can catch 10 shows for as little as $5.00 per person.  You will need to purchase a punch card to get the $5.00 rate, however, you can just catch the movies for $1.00/show if you purchase them directly at the box office.

The series kicks off on June 7th. In Kansas City, the movie is Veggie Tales: The Pirates Who Don’t Do Anything.  You can actually head here and click on the theatre closest to you to find out what is playing where you live.   (Thanks Eric!)

Another summer movie event is AMC’s Summer Movie Camp.  Starting on June 15th, you can take your kids to catch flicks for just $1.00 each.  They run on each Tuesday and start at 10:00 a.m.    The first movie playing will be Shrek the Third and you can pre-order your tickets starting on June 8th.  You can head on over here to find a participating theatre near you.

Dickinson Theatre is going to offer it’s Summer Vacation Movie Schedule once again this year.  The schedules of movies and times vary by location, so you’ll need to contact your local theatre to get the details and find out more details.
