I posted this on our Facebook page last night to give everyone a heads up. I also wanted to make sure it was here as well, for those of you who may not frequent me on Facebook.
Zappos.com and 6pm.com recently had a database security breach. Fortunately, credit card information was not viewable, however, personal account information was – including your password. If you happen to have an account on either site, it is highly recommended that you take a moment today and login and create a new password.
You can read more about exactly what happened on their blog, as shared by the CEO. This is being taken very seriously and they wanted to immediately notify their customers and to also explain what happened in order to keep your information safe.
