I am glad you are listing the deals for Dollar General. We live in a small, rural area and, although we go into the “big city” to do a lot of our shopping, Dollar General is the ONLY store we have where we actually live, outside of a VERY small grocery store and dinky gas station! So this is information I will certainly use. Thanks, Tracie! 🙂

I am go glad that these are heplful! I never know when someone needs a deal or not, so it is good to know that this is a valuable resource to some of my readers. Thank you for sharing!

I also live in a small, rural town and although we have a Wal-Mart I frequent DG so this is GREAT. Thanks so much!

Question – does Dollar General have a coupon policy?? The reason I ask is both of my stores are very nasty to people with coupons. If an item ends of being free – sorry you can’t do that. I am just not interested in being treated badly, but I would be willing to try another Dollar General if they were nice – just seems to me that my two are not managed very well. I hear such good stories from readers and my neice in Arkansas has good luck with them.

    • Tracie says

The absolutely do! You can clearly see that the policy does NOT say you can not use a coupon if it results in the item being free. I would email corporate if you are having issues to let them know what your store is telling you. Sometimes, that is all it takes for a manager to get a call from district so that they can be properly educated on coupon acceptance within their own store.

Thank you for posting the DG deals. I think I will wait until Saturday to use the $5/$25 coupon. So does this mean that this coupon should be scanned before my other coupons so that my total is over $25?
