State of Kansas Free Fishing & Park Entrance Days
June 5th & 6th
Each year, the State of Kansas offers Free Fishing Days. For two days, you can fish without a permit. They even waive the fees for boating and archery. You can get more details by heading here.
Soccer Game Project
Home Depot Stores Nationwide
Saturday, June 5th
The kids can make a fun soccer game at the Home Depot this weekend. These events are always a great thing for kids ages 5 – 12 and are fun for them to do with Dad or Mom. You can find more details here.
Old Shawnee Days
June 3rd – 6th
Friday: 6:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. (parade); 11:00 a.m. – 10:00 p.m.
Sunday: 11:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Cost: Free entrance; rides have costs

Prarie Village Art Show
June 4th – 6th
Friday: 5:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Saturday: 10:00 a.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Sunday: 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Head on out to Prairie Village and see amazing works of art from over 100 artists. The kids can come and enjoy face painting, crafts and fun activities. If you would like more information on this event, you can check out their website.
Cat in the Hat Storytime

11:oo a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
