Five Things To Do This Weekend

FRIDAY!!!! WHEW!! I don’t know about you, but this week seemed longer to me.  That always happens when my husband goes from working 4 days to 5.  But, at least we made it through another one!  You can find a few things to do this weekend by reading below.  I’ve included a few things you can find at some national chains and then a few local events.  If you are looking for something to do closer to home, check your newspaper, Chamber of Commerce or do what I do sometimes – GOOGLE IT!

Lowe’s Build & Grow Clinic

Grab the kids and go to Lowe’s to build a picture frame.  These events are geared towards kids ages 5 – 12 (but you can take yours if they are younger too).  Head here for details and to register.

Camo Photo Frame

Cost: Free

Dragon Boat Festival
Brush Creek – 47th & Broadway

Grab your lawn chairs and blankets and head out to Corporate Woods in Overland Park for this annual event.  Head over here for more information.

The Toys Are Back In Town
