So, we just went to Wal-Mart and I am thoroughly disappointed! Dora was not there! We did get a free cupcake but no goodie bag. They had a large table of Dora merchandise by the cupcakes that they were trying very hard to sell. And, with Dora not being there, no chance of a photo op. Instead of a picture with Dora, you get a piece of paper with a bar code to take your camera memory card and pick a picture of your child (that you have already taken) and have a Dora border put around it… At least we got a cupcake! But there is nothing so bad as a child hopped up on sugar in the toy department! (BTW-I have a 2 y/o boy who was very excited about Dora because she “taught” him how to count in Spanish.)

We went to our Walmart and they had no idea what we were talking about. Our store was listed on the website indicating that they were participating in this event. We has a very dissapointed 5 year old girl today. One more reason to shop at Target!
