Details:  Create something special just in time for back to school

National Geographic Little Explorers
Pottery Barn Kids Stores
Saturday, August 20th
10:00 a.m.
Cost: Free
Details:  Learn all about lions through song, crafts and lots of fun.  This event is geared towards children ages 3 and up.


Family Fun Days
Power & Light District
Saturday, August 20th
11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Cost: Free to attend, parking extra
Details:  Come learn about back to nature by making recyled drums, learning how to recycle and lots more! 

Rainforest Adventure
Crown Center
Regular shopping hours
Cost: Free
Details:  Bring the kids and let them get “down and dirty” with 40 hands on exhibits that bring them up close with nature and the rainforest.

    Also there’s the Ethnic Enrichment Festival at Swope Park. And if you’re in the mood for a short day trip, the Missouri State Fair in Sedalia makes Worlds of Fun look puny.
