Looking for ideas of what to do this weekend?  Here are five that you might want to check out!  Most of these are local to only Kansas City – but some are nationwide.  Whatever you decide to do – have a great time doing it!!

This weekend the kids can make this fun mini baseball game.  Just in time to get everyone in the spirit of baseball season!  You will need to sign up and can find more information here.

Second Saturday Kid’s Fest
Kansas City Zoo
Saturday, April 10th
10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.
Cost: Standard Zoo Admission Rates Apply  (Get one child’s admission free with each paying adult coupon here – See Special Offers)

Bring a shoe box and decorate it in your favorite snake pattern.  All of the boxes will be collected to make one large snake body on display at the zoo.  You can find more details here.

Meet Cinderella
Crown Center Plaza

12:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Cost: FREE

Come on down to Crown Center with your own princess and she can have her photo taken with Cinderella herself!   You can either bring your own camera or just pay a small fee and let a professional snap the shot for you!  You can find more details, including exact location within Crown Center, here.

KC Royals – Jersey Game

Youth Bike Rodeo
Leawood City Park
Sunday, April 11th
10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.
Cost: Free

Bring the kids and their bikes on out to the park and learn all about bicycle safety from Officer Cyclist Dave Jennings.  They will teach proper signaling, basic safety rules and even conduct helmet fittings.  Your child must be able to ride proficiently without training wheels and of course – helmets are required for everyone.  Mom & Dad are encourage to bring out their bike too and join in the fun!
