There is a new Scotch-Brite printable coupon for $1.00/1 product — no exclusions!  Right  now, you can find a single pack of sponges for about $0.84 at Walmart (possible regional differences) — so they could be free!!

I’m fairly new to “strategically” using coupons. Can you print more than one of these if you’re purchasing more than one item?

You can print and use one coupon per item. I would try to just get a couple here and there though, because even though it is fine to get say, 10, it could just cause you headaches when you check out.

It isn’t fraudulent. Walmart cashiers say this many times when someone will get something free with a coupon. It is direct from the 3M site and I have confirmed it with Money Saving Madness. If you click the link to her site, you can find the link information there as well.

The local Wal-Mart here didn’t want to use my coupon because they would be losing so many odd cents… I finally convinced them to ring it up manually and enter the amount of the single pad (84cents I think). That way when they got reinbursed they would make the cents instead of losing them! I got the free pad and they made money!!!! Sometimes you have to be nice and find a middle before they will!!!

I don’t believe the coupon itself is fraudulent because you can print it directly from 3M’s website but I’m no expert.

My humble opinion is that Wal*Mart and other stores are cracking down on the use of .pdf coupons because:
    1) there is no way to really validate the coupon
    2) a .pdf coupon has basically ‘unlimited’ prints and
    3) people are being absolutely ridiculous regarding the number they are printing. I’m all for getting a good deal but I read on another blog where a woman printed 100 of these and used them all at Wal*Mart today!! Come on, seriously?

I also think it depends upon whether or not the coupon scans at the register. Again, if the cashier refused it because it wouldn’t scan it’s probably because they’ve had experience with an actual fraudulent coupon.

What’s going to happen with the IPCs and the .pdfs is that the stores are going to quit taking them altogether because of the greediness and unethical behavior of some people out in the great, wild world of couponing and once again mess it up for those of us who are honest and have integrity.

Integrity – doing the right thing even when no one is watching.

Well said Sherri. Walmart (in nearly all cases) will not accept an IP coupon if it doesn’t scan or beeps. It doesn’t mean the coupon is no good – it just will not scan for some reason,so they do not accept it.

I used it at Walmart yesterday and had no problems. At first it came up as invalid item but when she read the coupon and there were no exclusions she had no problem taking it.
