Here comes giveaway #5!!  This one is a pen set from Faber-Castell.   What does it say about a company that has been in business since 1761? That’s right, 250 years ago Faber-Castell was founded in Germany as a pencil manufacturer. Today, Faber-Castell is a world renowned for its art supplies and fine writing instruments. Faber-Castell stands behind the quality of their work by guaranteeing the mechanics of your writing instrument for life.

I instantly fell in love with my pens.  Of course, the fact the one of them came in PINK probably helped!  I loved the weightiness to them.  It felt like something that was going to do the job very well.  And I was correct — they are like no other pen I’ve used — and trust me — I’ve used plenty.

For me, I like a nice rollerball pen.  I normally use my coupons and deals and pick up the inexpensive Bic pens at CVS or Walgreens.  And of course, I always thought that these were such nice pens.  I must say that those pale in comparison to these.  No smears. No smudges.  Clean, clear ink – as a pen is intended to be!  So if you ask me if I liked these pens I would have to say no.  I LOVE my pens!

One lucky Penny Pinchin’ Mom reader will win 2 Faber-Castell pens with a value of more than $100!!

Entry is simple! You just need to answer the question below by leaving a comment on this site! 1. Jessica says

Medium point for everyday use. I love fountain pens, but it’s so difficult to find one I like anymore.

  2. Alicia says

my favorite are the optiflow pens – I am a fast writer and these make my handwriting look a little more shabby-chic than henscratch

  3. MichaelaW says

I love rollerball pens – although as long as they write, I am happy to have them around, since pens seem to disappear in our house.

  4. Kristie says

I usually buy gel pens, only because they typically write smoothly and have a darker ink.

  5. Onalee K. says

I really love all types of pens, but am particularly fond of fine point roller ball pens.

  6. Eliza Klinger says

I like to write with Ball point pens, but I’ve never written with expensive pens before. This would be great for my husband who is a teacher

  7. Tracy says

I like to write with roller ball pens but I have never tried anything like these. Thanks for the chance.

  8. Wendi says

I like a pen that feels good while I am holding it, the point doesn’t matter if I like how it feels.

  9. Joan says

The fountain pen would be a great gift for my daughters graduation. Historical Decor is her preference. Fountain pens go with a Historical Theme.

  10. Ray says

I like the cheap medium point pens. The roller pens are simply to messy for my writing style.

  11. Stacie Frost says

I would have to say roller ball, but a nice one. For some reason the Hard Rock Hotel has the best pens. It’s the only one I’ve not managed to lose because it writes so nicely.

  24. Jessica D says

I like ball point pens the most. Roller and fountain pens are just too messy for me and my kids. hehe.

I follow you on Facebook 🙂

  25. Stephanie Wade says

It really depends on what I’m writing and what mood I’m in. lol Ball point with a very fine point is one of my all time favorites, and one I keep going back to though.

  26. Tania S. says

I really like a fine point pen that doesn’t leave ink smudges and smears on my paper.
