Did you know that March 11th is the beginning of Daylight Savings?  It also means that you will need to change out the batteries in your smoke detectors.  I checked at Target this past week and a 4 pack of 9V Duracell batteries was $11.58!  I about fell over!  So, I’ve been looking around on-line to see if I could find a better deal before it’s time for us to swap them out.   And, the good news is – I found one!

Yesterday, I shared a great deal for you to sign up at and you would instantly save 20% off of your very first order.  Not only that, they have several items on sale for a Leap Year sale (marked down 29%).  I actually found 3 packs of Rayovac 9V batteries for just $6 (much less than at Target).  When the 20% discount is applied, that drops the price to only $4.80!!

Since my family goes through a LOT of batteries, I was able to stock up and really save.  Plus, since I spent $40, my order is shipping for free!  Here is a shot of my order recaps:

I am ordering 6 – 12 packs of AA batteries (72 total) and 2 – 3 packs of 9V batteries (6 total) for less than $42!!  For as often as we go through batteries around here, this is a great deal!  I can’t touch these prices in the store, so I am definitely stocking up!  Head over to and stock up on your batteries too!  March 11th will be here before you know it!
