Hi! Thank you so much for all of your work!! It has been such a blessing to our family. Question: HyVee is a new store for me – do I have to have the in-ad coupon with me when I check out, or do they credit that to all customers? Also, is the in-ad coupon from the Sunday paper, or from the mailer we get on Tuesdays or Wednesdays? Thanks for your time!

Hi Laura! I am so glad I have been able to help so many families – that keeps me doing what I am doing. You will need to have the coupon to get the offer. The coupon should be in the insert you get on Wednesday morning in the flyer which reads swim.bike.ride. on the cover. The coupon is on the back page of that insert at the very bottom.

yes, what are their normal GM prices? Are the cereals on sale AND they offer the $4 coupons? If they only offer the GM cereals at normal prices (i.e. $4 a box) and then you use a 50cent coupon plus their $1 off catalina off your next purchase…that is NOT a good deal plus HyVee’s general prices are way too high to make this a good deal.
Please provide more details to help us understand how this is a good deal.

Not all offers work for everyone, of course. I just have had people asking me about the Catalina offer, so I shared what I learned.

The prices vary from store to store, so she can’t tell you the regular prices for your particular store. You’ll have to see when the ad comes out if the cereals are on sale or not. It may not be a good deal for you, but it may be one for someone who eats different cereals than you do. I’ve done this in the past and paid 50 cents – $1 per box of cereal. Great deal for me!!

I checked this out this morning. The cheapest box of GM cereal I found was $2.78. Some were 2.99.
