Important Safety Recall: Summer Infant Baby Monitor Battery Recall

This is an important recall that you will want to look into  If you own a Summer Infant Baby Monitor (purchased between 2009 – 2012), there is a recall you need to know about.  The batteries in select models of these monitors can overheat causing damage or injury.

Only select batteries and monitors are included in this voluntary recall.

Battery numbers include:

S/N: JNN-S150A
S/N: JNN-S150B
S/N: JNN-S150C

If you find that you have one of the affected models, you will need to remove the battery and contact Summer Infant at (800) 426-8627 or visit them online HERE to request a replacement battery.  You can use the a/c cord to power your monitor, until you receive the new battery.

    I have the Summer Infant Baby Touch 2 monitor to watch over my 2-year-old son. It works great so far and I even wrote a review for it. And I never place the camera too close to him so there is no way he can touch the cord. Anyway, a baby monitor with long cord is really risky.
