Have you seen this button in my sidebar? Have you clicked on it? If not, you might want to give it a try. This database contains all of the inserts that you can find in the Kansas City (and surrounding regions) newspapers.
I don’t know about you, but when I go to a lot of other databases, I see inserts and get excited about something I see, only to learn that we didn’t get it in our newspaper, or the face value was less than other areas. So, I started this database to help people in this part of the country know what coupons are available.
I just found a better host for the spreadsheet, so there are some changes you need to know about. When you click on the Coupon Database button, a new window will open. You will see a small spreadsheet grid with other “stuff” on the side bar. Towards the top of the page you will see a small blue button that says Full View. If you click this, another window will open and the spreadsheet will fit your entire screen.
Once you are in the database, you will see 4 tabs at the bottom of the screen:
Expiring This Week
Expiring This Week: This is a list of coupons that are set to expire from Sunday – Saturday of each week. This can help you know which coupons you need to pull from your files. It can also remind you to use one that is about to no longer be any good – so you don’t miss out on the savings.
Inserts. This sheet is a list of all of the current coupons that have been in the inserts in the newspaper. There is a legend at the top to help you easily identify your insert. You will notice the coupon description (including any exclusions), value, expiration and date of the insert. The list is sorted alphabetically.
All You: This is a list of the coupons that could be found in issues of All You Magazine. This sheet has the same columns as the inserts. This is also updated weekly to move coupons that will soon expire onto the expiring this week sheet.
Target Printables: This is the newest addition to the database. This list contains all of the coupons you can find on the Target website – by category. Since Target changed the manner in which you can print coupons, it has become impossible to tell if the coupon is a Target store coupon vs. manufacturer’s coupon and also the date it will expire. The only way you can do this is to print them off and look at it. This list has all Target store coupons in color, to help you identify them. It also includes the expiration date. In a addition to this, you can even click the link at the very top of the page, which will take you right to the Target coupons website!
I am looking adding additional sheets for the other coupon sites (coupons.com, RedPlum, Betty Crocker, etc). Some day, I will have a printable coupon database, but since that takes much more time to maintain, it will be a while before it is up and running.
If you have any feedback about the database, please drop me an email (or click on contact me above) – I’d love to hear from you!
