Kansas City Spook-ZOO-tacular on Saturday

Show off your Halloween costumes and Trick or Treat at the Zoo this Saturday, October 31 from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be free hay rides, cupcake walks, tours of the Boneville Graveyard and a haunted pirate ship, a ride on the Scarecrow Train Express, and much more.

Kids can dance with the Zoo’s mascot, Kaz the Cheetah, at the Monkey Mash Costume Ball where prizes will be awarded every 30 minutes! Other activities include KidZoo Art, Plow & Pedal tractors, KidZ in Motion, and “spooky” animal shows on the KCZoo Live! Stage.

October 31 is also National Magic Day! Celebrate at the Zoo with strolling magicians and live shows from Abracadabra Extravaganza.

Most activities are free with Zoo admission. Residents of Kansas City, Mo. receive free admission during October and November with photo identification and proof of residency. Friends of the Zoo (FOTZ) members always enjoy free unlimited admission to the Zoo!
