We are in the midst of  Major League Baseball’s All-Star Week here in Kansas City!  There is a lot going on, but one thing that a lot of people may not realize is that the National WWI Museum at Liberty Memorial will be giving the first 750 Museum visitors a commemorative tote bag on Friday, July 6. The baseball-themed bag commemorates the Museum’s new exhibition World War I All-Stars: Sports & the Inter-Allied Games. One bag will be given with each full-price admission, while supplies last.

In addition to the giveaway and in recognition of MLB FanFest’s Military Appreciation Day on Friday, July 6, the Museum, in partnership with the VFW, is offering discounted admission to members of the military. Active-duty military personnel receive the regular discounted half off admission, active-duty military families receive $2 off regular admission, and career military (20+ years of service) receive $2 off regular admission. Must present official ID for discount.
