If you purchase anything from them that breaks and have your receipt, be advised that they will only reimburse you what you paid for the item — even if it was on sale. That means, if you paid only $15.99 for a $20.99 item and it breaks, your voucher will be only for $15.99. Oh — and you also will not receive any sales tax reimbursement either.
So, to replace the faulty item you purchased from them in this case, you will have to come up with an additional $5.00 PLUS the sales tax on the full purchase amount – thus paying sales tax twice for the exact same item.
I advised the Customer Service Department that I would be sure to share this with all of my readers so that you would not be burned in the same way that I was.
