Menu Plan Saturday: 11/12 – 11/18

Are you ready for another Menu Plan Saturday?  Before you look at what I’ve planned for my family for this week, be sure to download/print your forms: Weekly Menu Planner and Weekly Shopping List.  Each week I have one special recipe that is provided to me by The Moms Resource called Penny Pinchin’ Picks!

If the recipe is available on line, I have directly linked it for you. If it’s my own recipe, I’ve included the details as well.  Keep in mind that the meals I select are based upon a combination of what I might find on sale combined with items from our pantry/freezer.

Keep in mind that I keep my life simple. I am a busy mom of 3 kids and to be honest, cooking is not something I love to do. I cook because I have to. So, these meals are planned around the simplicity that I look for when it comes to trying to figure out what to make for dinner.

MENU PLAN

Sunday:  Homemade Pizza
Monday:  Parmesean Chicken & Broccoli, dinner rolls
Tuesday:  Roast, potatoes, carrots
Wednesday:  Leftovers
Thursday:  Spaghetti, meatballs, salad, french bread
Friday:  Dine Out
Saturday:  Grilled chicken, corn, rice and rolls

    I have started doing the menu planning thing, and it worked so well this past week. Thank you for your help with dinner planning. I got out my cookbooks, and found some websites to get recipies out of. It makes shopping sooooo much easier, and you dont overspend or buy unneeded things.

      You bet! I figure my menu may not work for everyone, but if it helps someone think of one or two things or inspires them get into the groove then I am doing my job! LOL!!

    Love these menu plans! It helps remind me to plan out our meals each week. If I don’t, I find myself stopping at the store almost everyday for something needed to complete a meal. If I would just plan ahead like this, it would be so much easier!

      Thanks! I found when I planned meals, I spent less money!! I hope that I can at least inspire people to do plans and/or give people a few ideas on what to make for dinner.
