Menu Plan Saturday: 6/25 – 6/30

If it’s my own recipe, I’ve included the details as well.  Keep in mind that the meals I select are based upon a combination of what I might find on sale combined with items from our pantry/freezer.  We’re also grilling out more this week due to the gorgeous weather we’re going to be having. 

MENU PLAN

Sunday:  Grilled Pork Chops, Corn on the Cob, Salad
Monday:  Grilled Burgers/Hot Dogs, fresh veggies 
Tuesday:   Penny Pinchin’ Picks – Inside Picnic
Wednesday:   Left Over
Thursday:  Dine Out
Friday:   Baked Ziti (using whole grain pasta) , Salad, French Bread
Saturday:  Chicken Fried Steak, Rice, Green Beans, Rolls

Baked Ziti

1 lb Cooked Italian sausage
8 oz Whole Grain Penne Pasta
1 Jar Pasta Sauce (we use garden variety for increased veggies)
8 oz Mozzerlla Cheese

Cook pasta according to directions.  Mix sausage, pasta and sauce and put in greased 9×13 pan.  Bake for 25 min.  Cover with cheese and bake for 5 min more or until cheese is melted.
