Sorry, Tracie, can’t agree with you on this one. This site needs some serious work before I’m going to use it,
For example, I looked at the the deal of the day on this site. It was Lion Brand Thick N Quick, a yarn you can get at pretty much every Jo-Ann, Hobby Lobby or Michaels store in town, and at a slightly lower “regular price” than this website promises. . Use one of the 40% off coupons in the paper every Sunday and you can get this yarn at a lower price, plus you don’t have to worry about shipping. Oh, and you aren’t limited to one color either.
If you’re a knitter or crocheter, you will like much much better, I promise.

Oh, and I forgot to add– the Craftsy website lists the Thick and Quick yarn as knitting up at seven stitches per inch. That’s just crazy, crazy wrong– seven stitches per inch is what you get when you knit with a laceweight yarn, not a bulky yarn! Thick and Quick is more like 2 1/2 stitches per inch.
A error of this type is unforgivable on a website that purports to help craftspeople!

I agree that maybe it’s not the best site for deals… but there are a lot of awesome free tutorials on there! Thanks for sharing!
