Recovering At Home

Well, I made it home late yesterday afternoon – feels good to be out the hospital.  I am now working on recovering.  So, that means rest, rest and more rest.  I still have  my elves posting a few deals today – so you can still check back.  I will HOPEFULLY end up feeling more like me again soon and will be back to sharing lots of great deals and coupons.

I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to all of you for your understanding, patience and prayers during this time.   I have the best readers – bar none!

Glad you’re on the mend! Best tip I got when I had my gall bladder surgery – as soon as you can, get up and walk. Don’t over-do it, obviously, but take a short walk around the room every once in a while. It’ll help work out all that air they put in you – and you’ll feel MUCH better, MUCH sooner. 🙂

I agree with Beckie! I had to have a second surgery after mine due to a complication and the worst part was the air from both! By far. So walk and rest 🙂 Hope you feel better soon! Don’t worry about us 😉 Happy Holidays!

Let others care for you – healing up from a hysterectomy (at age 31!) and if you rest enough at first, you’ll heal really quickly.

Good luck on your recovery and take your time! Work and house stuff can wait. I had my gallbladder removed emergency last month and even after a week of recovery and staying off my feet I could still only do so much so often so again take it slow and warm wishes to your family!!

Let your family wait on you (us moms don’t get that all to often)

It’s a terrible time to be on the mend, but DO take it easy! You’ll never regret letting others wait on you, but if you do too much too fast you WILL regret it! The voice of sad experience speaking here! Hope you’re up and around and doing well soon! Love your blog!

Staying in bed sounds devine to me today (I am SO tired!! TOo much Christmas!), but I know you’re not exactly feeling spry yet!! Very glad to hear that all went well, and I hope you make a wonderful and fast recovery! Enjoy your Christmas with your family, and enjoy the chance- this year, at least- to not feeling guilty if you aren’t up helping with the dishes and the cleanup, etc. There’ll always be more of that later!

Hoping you have a speedy recovery. I had my gallbladder out a few months ago. Heating pad worked great on the pressure from the extra air (the air made my shoulders hurt really bad).
    Get some rest!!
