Having three kids means that you not only have a lot of fun, you also end up buying a LOT of clothes! When I look for things for my kids to wear, it isn’t just the lowest price that matters to me. Sure, I don’t want to spend a lot, but if the quality won’t hold up, I end up replacing items, which ends up costing me more!
One place that I go to for my kids clothes is Gymboree. I never pay full price for anything there as they often have sales. Not only that, I can earn GymBucks to use towards my future purchases (which really helps our budget)!
I’ve been buying items from them for years. In fact, I purchased items for my oldest daughter when she was younger. When she outgrew the items, I put them into a box to keep them for my younger one to wear. She was also able to use them, which meant that I paid for the outfits once, but got twice the mileage from them. Even when I’ve sold these items, they look almost brand new and sell for more than the lesser quality items. Gymboree means quality to me – and that matters as a Mom!
I was recently asked to check out some new items they had available. They have got ADORABLE apparel for July 4th (I love having my kids dress in red, white and blue for this holiday – don’t you)? Not only that, but they’ve also got adorable swimwear! With the amount of time my kids spend in their suits during the summer, I need them to hold up and not wear out before they are done for the season.
I was provided a stipend by Gymboree to try out some items, so I picked up swimwear for my two younger kids (as that is what they will actually wear most of the day on July 4th):
My son wanted a rash guard this year. He isn’t a fan of not wearing a shirt when he swims most of the time (and honestly plays in the smaller pool more than he is in the water swimming). So, I wanted to make sure his delicate shoulders and chest were protected. He picked out these adorable sign trunks and this rash guard to go with them. When he tried it on for the first time, he begged me to let him wear them to bed (so I guess that means they must be pretty comfy)!!
My daughter is 5 and didn’t want a bikini, but said she didn’t want a one piece either (ahhh….I am SO not looking forward to her teen years)!! So, we looked and the minute she saw this tankini, she told me that was the one she wanted! I am pretty partial, but I think she is pretty adorable:
Now that we’ve got their apparel for the pool, they’ve asked me to get something else to wear to our July 4th celebration once the fireworks start! My daughter wants me to get this shirt and shorts to wear:
My son just wants to wear his favorite denim shorts, but asked me if I couldn’t order him this shirt to wear with them:
You can find all sorts of adorable items for your kids to wear to your July 4th picnic HERE at Gymboree!
I really am a loyal Gymboree shopper and have yet to be disappointed by anything I purchase through them – ever. And, honestly, my kids would have to agree!
