*CLOSED* Review of Hoover Windtunnel Air Bagless Upright + Giveaway of Cordless Stick Vacuum + HOT Deals Perfect for the Holidays!!

I like a clean house.  I hate dirty floors.  I find myself running the vacuum cleaner at least 3 to 4 times a week.  That is partly due to having a black lab who sheds like nothing else out there.  I’ve tried several vacuum sweepers over the years and so I feel that I am somewhat an expert when it comes to reviewing them.  I recently had a chance to try out the new Hoover Windtunnel Bagless Upright and share my thoughts below (But don’t skip over that part – as if you read on – I have a great deal for all of my readers!!!)

I could not have received the Hoover Windtunnel Air at a better time. I had just “glittered” a little Fairy Princess for Halloween, and I had the remnants of preparation — all.over.my.house! It was also going to be tested on the steps heading upstairs.  These steps get A LOT of traffic on them, and if I’m staying on top of things — they need to be vacuumed almost daily! (Which, I don’t stay on top of all the time– so, this was going to be a good test!) 😉

I first attacked the glitter. It was literally covering the tile floors in my kitchen.  The first thing I noticed about the Hoover Windtunnel Air was how light it was compared to my Dyson.  It really did feel noticeably different.  It was easy to push, pull and cart around.  The suction on the vacuum seemed to be pretty good!  I did have to invent a trick move when going over my rugs — but, once I perfected my move (go forward and tilt to the right and up before pulling back) I was pleased with the end results of my rugs! With this vac, you have the choice to turn the brushes off.  I tried attacking the glitter on the tile floor both ways, and both ways won the battle, but while the brushes were on, it definitely did a better job!

When I started to carry it up the stairs to tackle the steps and hallway, I again noticed just how lightweight this vacuum was! After sweeping up all the dog hair and kid “traffic” off of my steps, I broke out the tools.  This was the only part that was a little frustrating for me at first.

You have to actually first unhook the main vacuum hose and take out the handle.  Then you remove the extension hose and attach it to the main hose.  After that, you then attach the handle to the two hoses.  I will admit, this was not convenient to do — at first.  However, once I figured it out, and got over the “change”, it wasn’t hard at all to accomplish.  The quick tool attachment was very nice to use.  I could switch from the corner tool to the brush tool with a simple tab and slide action.  I liked that! It was perfect for going from the corners of my steps to the tops of my baseboards, without needing 2 separate tools!

Overall, this was a nice vacuum for daily jobs.  It’s lightweight, and the tools are very easy to use once you figure out how to attach them all.  The bagless canister feature is also easy to use and much better than changing a bag in my opinion. I will wash my canister frequently, as I don’t want to see the dust and grime the great suction has picked up! 🙂  I would recommend this to a friend looking for a new daily vacuum!

I hate it when I go to use the attachments & the hose doesn’t stretch very far. I have to be very careful that the vacuum doesn’t tip over especially when I’m working on the stairs.

  2. Samantha says

Aside from my vacuum no longer working (my BF thought it could be used to clean the saw/cement dust from the garage) – it was so difficult to use, especially when I had to carry my 18 month old in the other hand since she is terrified of the noise lol

  3. Jennifer Schnell says

I hate that my vacuum cleaner is to heavy and the hepa filter clogs with pet hair often.

  4. Anne Sellers says

I hate how heavy my vaccuum is, so difficult to do a quick sweep of the stairs or lug from room to room!

  5. Brenda says

There are sooooo many things I hate about my vacuum but #1 is the fact that no matter how many times I vacuum I still don’t feel like my carpets are clean enough for my children to play on. I need this vacuum:)

  6. Ashley Vazquez says

I don’t like that I can’t vaccum on hard surfaces with my vaccum, it just blows the dirt everywhere.

  7. Tracy D. says

I don’t like the weight of my vacuum. It wasn’t a problem till I moved to a house with 2 floors and a basement. I need something I can actually carry from floor to floor.

  8. Gina says

I hate having to use a BAG! I forget to order them. AND I have to break it down to get a hose attatched :/

  9. Heather says

I don’t like cleaning my stairs with my vacuum. It’s really heavy so dragging it up and down the stairs is a pain.

  10. Lisa Brown says

I hate the cord! It’s either too short, too long and your are dragging it and getting it caught on things.

  11. Christine says

It’s very heavy. My husband does the vaccuming because my back is bad and it’s too heavy.

  12. Abby Craig says

I have a Kirby… and I have all hardwood floors! I have how heavy it is to lug around from floor to floor (3 stories!). Would love something that sucks up dust and dirt and is super light!!

  13. Ashley H says

I really don’t like that the vacuum I have now doesn’t work on the new laminate floors we put in. It just spits everything out at my feet and legs. I get to sweep alot now instead 🙁

  14. Christina says

What I hate most about my vacuum? That it sucks but doesn’t suck lol. It doesn’t pick up anything on the first pass, I have to go over the area a few times. So frustrating!

  15. Jennifer says

I don’t like how heavy my old vacuum is…plus, it has a bag that I have to switch out every time it’s full.

  16. Rachel says

My vacuum does not seem to suck as much as it should- need to go over carpet a couple of times 🙁

  17. Kristina says

The thing I hate most about my vacuum is the suction. I bought an expensive Dyson and at first it worked great…but now after a few years it doesn’t have the powerful suction that it once did.

  18. Chanda Dilks says

The thing I hate most about my current vacuum is how heavy it is. It is made for carpet and hard surfaces but not real good on the hard surfaces. Thank you!!!

  19. Raymond Schlee says

What I hate the most about my vaccuum is how broken it is! Ugh. Right now, only the tools work.

  20. Paul Tran says

I like the filtering system because we have to buy them all the times – – Paul Tran….. emscout9 at Hotmail dot com

  22. Lindsey S says

Mine works fine, it just leaves blue marks on my white baseboards if I’m not extremely careful near the edges. They come off with a magic eraser, but I really dislike creating another task while cleaning my home!

  23. amanda says

i broke the handle of my vacuum, with my “hardcore” cleaning so its very difficult to hold onto. 🙂 oops

  24. Stephanie G says

What I hate most is that it quit working 🙁 This would be a dream come true, as I cannot afford to replace it, and I am broom sweeping my carpet. Thank you so very much for this chance!

  25. Lisa Garner says

I hate how heavy my vacuum is and how hard it is to fit into tight space.
