Each year Vampire Power, which is the energy drawn from devices that are plugged in but are not in use, wastes 10 billion dollars in the U.S. alone.  iGo would like to help fathers everywhere go green and save green with their line of iGo Green electronics, which reduces Vampire Power by up to 85 percent.

Plus, iGo products also use an intelligent tip technology, which allows one charger to power/charge hundreds of brands and thousands of models of mobile electronic devices by using interchangeable tips. By using one charger for multiple products, it significantly minimizes electronic waste.

We have 3 different laptops in our home.  And of course, all 3 are a different maufacturer, so of course, our charges are not interchangable.  If you have ever had to replace a charger, you know how expensive that they can be.  That’s one thing I loved about thi one –  you can swap out the tips.  It was so simple to do!  We can now charge our devices and save energy in the process – something that both my husband and I are passionate about.

I will admit that I am one of “those” moms.  You know, the one who takes a million pictures and even makes her kids stop so she can take a picture or shoot some video.  So, when I had a chance to try out the newest product from Flip – the Flip SlideHD- I was ecstatic.

The one feature that really appealed to me most of all was it’s size.  I was able to keep this camcorder in my pocket this past weekend.  That made it so easy for me to pull out and quickly capture those fun moments of the kids having fun!  I can carry this little one with me anywhere I go — so I’m not without a camcorder.
