How many times has this happened to you? You print a coupon from the Target website, thinking that it will be a store coupon, only to learn it is a manufacturer’s coupon, which you already have and can not use. Now, you’ve wasted time and money.
There is an easy way to know if the coupon you want to print is either a manufacturer’s coupon OR Target store coupon — before you print them!
CHECK THE WORDING
The easiest way to check is to just look at the wording that is used on the coupon description. These are actually “codes” as to the type of coupon.
- “When you buy” — indicates that this is a manufacturer’s coupon available on Target’s website.
- “With purchase of” — indicates that this is a Target store coupon.
- Product name only — indicates that this is a Target store coupon.
Some printers allow you to preview your items before you print them. To find out if this is available on your printer, you will want to check your settings. Keep in mind that this is not an option on all printers, however, if this is the case for you, you will be able to view the item before you print it out!
So there you have it! Quick and easy ways to find out if your coupon is a Target coupon or a manufacturer’s coupon!!
