A few weeks ago, I was contacted by VitaZest Water about a new product they were releasing in conjunction with their release in select Subway markets in and around the country. I finally had a chance to try this product and will way I was slightly surprised.
I will admit that I don’t like water. Sounds strange – I know — but it is the truth. So, I was very apprehensive about trying something like this. I was very pleasantly surprised when I took my first sips. It was not overly sweet with the fruit taste, but it gave the water some actual flavor — without after taste. In fact, my husband came home from work and tried it and I think he was just as thrilled as I was to try something new that would be better for us to drink, but still gives us some great flavor.
The product that is my favorite is Kiwi Strawberry. This one just really struck my fancy. It probably helps that I LOVE strawberries. I am already sad that my supply is being depleted and I’ll have to try to get some more soon! So, what more would you like to know about VitaZest?

With a staggering 24 million Americans living with diabetes and 57 million more considered pre-diabetic; SUBWAY® restaurants, VITAZEST water and the renowned Diabetes Research Institute have worked to pioneer the revolutionary, Subway Diabetes Friendlier Menu. This menu helps eliminate some of the guesswork regarding the nutritionals of the Subway menu options. This new menu does so, by identifying for consumers those SUBWAY® meal choices that best fit into a well balanced diabetic diet. This revolutionary menu is endorsed by the Diabetes Research Institute whose nutritional experts helped design the “improved” selections found on this new Diabetes Friendlier called “Scoop it”. “Scoop it” refers to the sandwiches offered, where the doughy inside of the sub is removed. These new menu items were designed to maintain the taste integrity of the conventional Subway menu options, however, they are even leaner in sugar, carbs, calories, sodium and fat and are all less than 400 calories. The “Scoop it” Menu also offers 7 Diabetes Friendlier salad choices.
