If you are new to shopping at Walgreens, it can be daunting to figure out how to really work your money saving magic.  No worries, because I’m here to help!  Below you’ll find a few transactions to help you learn how to put your coupons and Register Rewards to work for you.    Keep in mind that these transactions can be done in a single shopping trip with multiple transactions, or over the course of a few visits.

You don’t want to be Kristie! LOL!!! It is automatic if you live in Kansas City, Richmond or Portland. It is not as beneficial as the current RR program.

Kristie, You don’t want to! Kansas City, Richmond VA and Portland are the test markets, and we get “points” on most things instead of RR. It’s BAD BAD BAD.

The register wouldn’t do the revlon deal for us today, but not for lack of trying by us or the cashier. Using either the $2 store cpn from the paper, or the $1 mfg cpn from the paper, or both, caused no RR to print for me. It was a frustrating morning for us and the cashier both at Wags this morning.

    • Tracie says

Oftentimes, the RR do not work in the mornings at Walgreens. I am not sure why that is, but if you did the transaction without the RR printing, you can call 888-826-8766 and they can help you out.

The Revlon nail polish did not print the $3 RR for me, when I asked for it, the cashier said it was not printing for some reason and that she could give me a rebate to send to get the $3 sent to me. Frustrating that now I have to mess with sending a rebate, and if I hadn’t asked about it, they would not have mentioned this. So if doing this deal, make sure the RR prints out, or ask for the rebate form.

If you have the BOGO coupons on the Axe body wash/ detailer or the Axe deodorant/ body spray. Walgreens has a deal where the body spray and the deodorant packaged together Buy one get one 50% off…The 50% off comes off after the coupon. The deodorant and body spray package cost $4.79. After coupons it makes it $2.40 for the 2 of the packages. Which makes each package $1.20 or $0.60 per item. The body wash is double the size of the normal Axe Body Wash it cost $5.79. Which makes 2 body washes $2.90 or $1.45 a piece…which is a great deal…These deals are on a special display and it says the deal is ineffect until the end of the month. You can also get the axe detailer on this deal too.
