Walgreens: Beginning Transactions for the Week of August 21st

This post may contain affiliate links. Please see my full disclosure policy for details.

Wanting to figure out how to work some deals at Walgreens this week?  Below you will find a few ideas of how to work your transactions.  You can do all of these in just one visit (run separate ones when checking out) or you can do these over the course of more than one visit.  Keep in mind that this week is not the “best” week for working deals at Walgreens, but I’ve still put together a few deals for those of you who might want to work them.  In addition, I’ve listed the best possible scenario, so if the coupon you received where you live was different, your final total will also end up being different as well.

Now, if you happen to reside in the test market (you’d know if you have to use a card at checkout to get the offers), your deals are different as you do not recieve the same RR as others will get.  Therefore, below you will find a section for Non-Test Market shoppers and Test-Market Shoppers — to help you know what you can do where you shop to get the most for your money this week.

interesting, but these transactions would NEVER work at my WG b/c they say I must have the same amount of items as I do coupons…and, B1G1 coupons count as TWO and RRs count as one. they are NOT coupon friendly

If you look at my transactions, I have the same number of items as I do coupons….3 items = 2 coupons + 1 RR. Your store is very wrong and the manner in which they apply BOGO coupons is against their policy. You can contact corporate and report them – that can sometimes help to “educate” the managers as to the Walgreens policy.

That all being said – I don’t shop at Walgreens as I am in the test market and the deals are less then impressive for me.

I hate being in the test market area! There are so many better RR deals that other WAGS are doing and mine isn’t…they are on points. Grrr…
