Walgreens: Free Crayola Washable Markers Starting Sunday

This post may contain affiliate links. Please see my full disclosure policy for details.

Before anyone purchased Crayola Washable Markers this coming weekend, I wanted to make sure you all knew about an upcoming deal at Walgreens.  This one will start this coming Sunday, July 31st.  You will actually be able to get them FREE after you net your Register Rewards!  Here is the offer:

Crayola Washable Markers, 8 ct, $2
Register Rewards: $2
Final Price: FREE

If you happen to reside in a test market region (Kansas City, Portland or Richmond), I am unable to confirm at this time if you’ll get this offer or not.  Hopefully you all will too (cross  your fingers)!

So I am not familiar with Walgreens…. do I need to have a card or something to get this deal or is there something to print? Any Idea if here is a limit? I would love to buy 4 or 5 boxes to replace the markers at our church for our 2 & 3 yr olds!! (Purely selfish reasons, my 2.5 yr old comes home covered in marker almost every week!)

Jennifer, Register Rewards are for anyone, anywhere. They are bascially a coupon that prints after you make your purchase. So, you will pay $2 and get a coupon for $2 to spend on your next purchase. The thing to note is that if you use the RR you earned for the markers on another marker purchase, another will not print out. In addition, if you purchase more than one box in a single transaction, you will still only get one RR and not one for each item.

I am not sure of limits (the stores can put them on items if they choose), but if you need more than one box, you can do separate transactions for each one. You will then pay $2+ tax for each box. If you purchase 4 boxes, you will pay $8+ tax and have 4 RR that total $8 that you can use on other items in the store. You might want to read up on the Walgreens 101 post to learn more.
