I am in the test market and I can’t help but feel I would rather not be and get the Register Rewards. With as many points as it takes to get a Walgreen’s $5 gift card it seems I would be better off with the Register Rewards. Am I missing something or is this how most people feel?

You are not alone in your thinking. I shared an article about this a while back and the response was overwhelmingly negative towards the rewards program. You see others getting $5 RR over and over while we aren’t even close to earning our $5 rewards.

For those people who prefer to use Huggies diapers, there are some great deals on those diapers at Walgreens this week as well. They have Huggies Jumbo packs for $8.99, and Huggies wipes 2/$5. If you buy $25 worth of Huggies, you get $5 Register Rewards. I bought 3 Jumbo packs, each with a $2.00 coupon and 2 boxes of wipes, each with a $.50 coupon. Add in my $5.00 RR and I saved $20.00. Not as cheap as the Walgreens brand diapers, but still a great deal on Huggies.

Also, they have the Right Guard men’s body wash on sale for $3.99. With $3.00 in RR and a $1.00 coupon attached to the bottle, the final price was free.

There is also a coupon in the ad for $1.00 off Halls cough drops (and you can get the bonus free bags) which makes them .99. Plus the .50 coupon in the All You magazine, making them .49.
