    • Judy says

Me too!!!! I live in Kansas City. Haven’t shopped at Walgreens except maybe once a months since the test market. Points aren’t worth it.

      • greg b says

I agree as well. We are really missing out on some good deals this week. I also noticed that when you pay with the point gift certificates (in Missouri) you pay tax on the pre-certificate total instead of the total after the certificate is applied (like when register rewards or coupons are used) Grrrrrrrrr. I dont like this point system.

  1. Dena says

It stinks to live in the test market. Guess I won’t need to go to Wags for anything this week. Skunky week for the test market.

  2. Stephanie says

Is there anyone out there who is actually finding benefit to the test market thing? I hate it and find that I never go into WAGS anymore.

  3. Jill says

How do you know if your in the test market area? I’ve gotten RR the past two weeks so I am assuming I’m not?

  4. Lisa says

Stephanie & Tracie, I must agree and I have vowed to stop shopping Walgreens until/unless they do something different from the currect rewards program. I’ve even sent a letter to the corporate marketing team & spoke w/ one of the corporate marketing managers. Please, please test market Wags shoppers (and anyone else who doesn’t want to see this currect program come to your area): SEND AN EMAIL, LETTER, AND/OR CALL Walgreens corporate to convey your opinions. Also, the only way Walgreens will really get the message is if we stop shopping there. Obviously though, those who aren’t in a test market don’t feel the impact (yet) so they’re shopping as usual. But once this program is rolled out nationwide, others will soon understand the unfortunate halt to their couponing deals. Let your voice be heard!!

    • Amy says

I too have stopped shopping at Wags. I am disappointed in the ridiculous points program, and I find their employees to be unfriendly overall. Plus, they are not coupon-friendly. I am a big fan of CVS. Love their customer service, the ease of using coupons, and my beloved “green bag tag!”

      • Tracie says

What is so sad is that Walgreens is not even listening to anything those of us testing the program have to say. They say it is great, but when you look at the RR taht the people received today vs. what we would get, we get less. They get $4 in RR, which is like having 1600 points for us (2000 gets you a $5 reward). So, when we get 400 bonus points and they get $4 — it just doesn’t add up.

  5. Julie says

Where can I find the contact information for Wags. I hate the test market and do not shop there anymore.

  6. Amber says

Just have a quick question…are the first 5 or 6 items under your Register Rewards list the monthly RR deals? Because I don’t have any of them listed in my WAGS ad. Just checking thanks!

    • Tracie says

They were in the outer wrapper that covered the ad and not within the ad itself. So, if you didn’t get that small wrapper, then you wouldn’t see this.

  7. says

I think I am going to start a “We don’t Want Your Points Card” campaign and encourage shoppers to email or write them a letter telling them what we think of it. It may fall on deaf ears but at least we can say we tried.

I am in Wichita now and we don’t have CVS or Rite Aid to fall back on so losing Register Rewards would really suck. When I moved here a few months back from KC, getting out of the test market was the one thing I was most excited about in us moving here.

    • Ashley R. says

I would join your campaign! I have also not shopped at WAGS since they started this program! …….. I have wrote a lengthy complaint on there FB page just out of frustration with zero results!

I kinda hope they hurry up and expand it for all, that way they will soon be changing it or losing there butts at there stores!

  8. Melissa says

Does anyone know what the $15 in q’s are that you get with the Hershey’s/ Coke deal?

    • Valerie says

I had the same question. It almost seems as they changed the wording, but sounds like a RR, especially if you read the fine print.
