Walgreens Weekly Matchups: 5/15 – 5/21

This post may contain affiliate links. Please see my full disclosure policy for details.

Are you new to Walgreens? You’ll want to read up on Walgreens 101 to learn about Register Rewards and Bonus Points (test market only). You should also review and print the Walgreens Coupon Policy and keep it with you.

Below you will find this week’s best Walgeens deals.  If you reside in a test market (Kansas City, Portland or Richmond metropolitan areas), you may be offered points deals in lieu of Register Rewards and/or in addition to other offers.  If there are any of those deals, I have included them below to help you know what you will receive when you shop.

If you are not familiar with the points system, you earn points which you can redeem towards offers and coupons.  The most common coupon is $5 off of your next purchase.  This offer can be “purchased” once you have 2000 points in your account.  If you wish to compare what others who receive Register Rewards receive in comparison to what you will get towards achieving a $5 off coupon you can determine that 400 points = $1 in value.

RE: Starbucks 4/$5….these are the singles, as stated in the ad. The Moments to Save Insert coupon is for $2 off 2 – 4 PACKS. So I don’t believe this would work to get them free….This is what my inserts / ads say anyway….

  2. heather says

I was wondering the same about the Starbucks….the coupon says save $2 when you buy 2 starbucks frappuccino or double short 4 pack. So does that mean only the double shot u have to buy in a 4 pack and the frappucino you can buy 2 singles? Its kinda confussing.

  3. Megan says

I am wondering about the Aquafresh kids coupon in the May Booklet…are the booklets regional because I do not have an aquafresh coupon in mine at all? Was this just an error, because the Spring Booklet had an aquafresh for kids coupon. Does anyone know??? Thanks!

    • Tracie says

I haven’t seen the booklets….this was the information in the Coupon database, so I have not personally confirmed it was in the booklet.

  4. Stephanie says

Yes they work but you have to give them the $2.00 off from moments to save first. then the walgreens coupons. Worked for me last night like that.. hope it works for you!!

  5. Brandymybest says

If anyone has the walgreens aquafresh coupon, could you post the 4 digit code under the barcode? Most walgreens will accept it if you just ask for them to enter the 4 digits. I have searched high and low and can’t come up with the coupon book for that coupon.

  6. trisha says

I saw on the ad this week that schick hydro razor is b1g1free and i happen to have (2) $3 coupons…my question is do i use one coupon when i check out or do i use both???

    • Tracie says

You should be able to use both……but it depends on your cashier. They may allow only one to be used.

  7. Casey Lester says

You can use both (one coupon per item, since the bogo is the sale in the ad, not a coupon)!

  8. Casey Lester says

Here is how I am going to work my deal for the Old Spice body wash this week…I am going to actually get 4 on the transaction, but I am going to use 4 of the BOGO Old Spice coupons from the 5/1 P&G insert, which will make them all 4 free. I should still get the $3.00 RR since I “bought” 3 body washes, which means I am going to get 4 free items plus a $3.00 moneymaker!

  9. Heather says

The $2/2 Starbucks coupons are not accepted for the deal in Gardner, Kansas. I was just in there and was treated very poorly by a lady named Pat when i tried to use them. She then embarrassed me by hollaring across the isle to the manager Jake as he was on his way up. My exerience with the manager wasn’t any better. He wasn’t very helpful and didn’t try to resolve the situation or apologize for how she had just treated even when i mentioned how unprofessional she just was by yellingacross the isle in front of other employees and customers. I must also add that he wasn’t very professionally dressed either. I have only been in this store a few times butt now im not sure if i want to go back

    • Tracie says

Heather – that is why I dont’ shop at Walgreens…..mine is very rude as well.

  10. Andrea says

The coupon CLEARLY states in word AND picture a 4PACK, to use the coupon in any other way constitutes coupon FRAUD.

    • Tracie says

Wow Andrea – I find this greatly offensive. I do not promote fraud and do not appreciate your insinuating that is what I was doing. The coupon information I had noted did not have the sizes listed, which is why I had included it. When the error was pointed out (by another reader via email), I quickly checked the coupon and removed the item from the matchups as it was not a deal that was accurate and I did not want anyone trying to run the scenario.

Yes, we are all human and we make mistakes, but I really dont’ know what more you wanted me to do?

  11. Andrea says

Tracie, seriously…we are all human and make mistakes. I really would appreciate the gesture of apology and inaccuracy on your part when you have made an error rather than simply DELETE the inaccuracy. I printed my list, from this post, on 5/16/2011 at 9:59PM, and the Starbucks was on there, NOW it’s nowhere to be found on the match up.

The least you could do is apologize to your blog followers, they deserve that little from you for their time spent.

  12. a fellow reader, who does not expect apologies from Tracie says

woah woah woah, Andrea….you’re talking about Tracie being human???? Are you really coming on here with the gall to tell Tracie, who is doing us all a huge favor in even running this site and sharing her work with the public, that she needs to take MORE TIME out of her busy schedule to make a special post regarding error correction??? REALLY? Seriously. Get off your high horse. Your suggestion that her blog followers deserve anything extra from her would be completely laughable were it not insulting.

  13. Dawn K. says

You will only be able to use 2 of the BOGO coupons. Also remember that the 3/$10 price usually means you have to purchase that many to get the promotional price.
