Walgreens Weekly Matchups: 5/22 – 5/28

This post may contain affiliate links. Please see my full disclosure policy for details.

Are you new to Walgreens? You’ll want to read up on Walgreens 101 to learn about Register Rewards and Bonus Points (test market only). You should also review and print the Walgreens Coupon Policy and keep it with you.

Since we are in the midst of a large bathroom remodel project, I didn’t personally get the Walgreens deals put together myself.   This week’s deals are courtesy of Mercedes at Common Sense with Money.  I’ve listed my favorites below, but you will want to check out her site for the entire list of matchups.

If you happen to reside in the test market (where you receive bonus points by using your card), I have included some of those deals as well – in the instance where you will receive points rather than Register Rewards.

On the Axe deal, if you don’t have the $1/1 Printable (i already used mine on some travel sized ones) Then you can buy 4 and use (2) B1G1 free coupons. Total before RR would be $8, minus $3 RR total $5 or $1.25 each. Actually that is a little better than using the $1/1 printable anyways.

  2. Dawn says

Watch the register when the Huggies Swim Diapers are ringing up. Mine rang up $8.99 at my store, not $6.99! Thankfully, I caught it and they changed it. I was so excited to get several packages for only $2.99/each. What a deal!

  3. Jessica says

I’ve looked through by binder and through the extra Smart Source from 5/8 and I don’t have the carefree coupon. I get my coupons from Grain Valley. I’m not sure if the date is wrong on this or if I missed out on the coupon.

  4. lisa says

Jessica, I’m in Lenexa and I didn’t find carefree coupons either. I also get a co-workers coupons from Overland Park, and again, no carefree coupons.

  5. Kim says

I want to verify a few things since I am new to this.

One- when the ad states buy a certain quantity or a certain dollar amount…can you use the B1G1 Free coupons and still get credit for the “purchase” of the free item.

For example, with the Axe this week: If I use 2 B1G1 Free coupons….get 4 bottles….2 are free, then subtract the RR. Does that work?

    Or use 3 coupons….get 6 bottles….3 are free, etc.
A little confused here and scared to try:)

  6. Jessica says

Kim, I believe you should be able to use 2 B1G1 coupons and 2 1.00 coupons for the items you’re purchasing. Then you would get your $3 RR for your next purchase.

  7. Anne says

So, I found out my Walgreens restocks on Wed. So I headed over there this morning hoping that they’d have some deals in-stock. They did…finally! Here was my first ever deal-o in 4 transactions:

<$13 OOP, $51.24 in savings + $5 RR for future
