Ways to Save on Disposable Diapers

We are lucky family in that we use very few disposable diapers, since we cloth diaper. However, we do use them when we will be out for a while, when we have a sitter or for when we are struck by that awful diaper rash. The cost of diapers just seems to continually increase, so we are always on the look out for ways we can save. Here are some ideas that just might help you!

Babies R Us / Toys R Us Rewards Program

While it may seem that the day to day cost of diapers there is higher, you actually can come out ahead if you do your homework and use your coupons. First of all, you need to belong to the Rewards Club. Membership is free, so sign up if you haven’t yet.

Then, when you purchase 8 packages of diapers, you will actually get your 9th one for free. So, use your coupons — both store and manufacturer’s. Then, pay attention when they are on sale and stockpile to maximize your savings. Then, once you’ve purchased 8, you can get one for free!

Switch Brands

Some are loyal to a specific brand. You can try a store or even another brand that might cost you less. Who knows – maybe you’ll love them and can start to save that way.

Diapers.com

Diapers.com can have some really great deals when you use coupons and discount codes. Here are a couple of scenarios:

Huggies Scenario:

2. Create a new account

3. Mail in any coupons you have — try to get yourself 7 – $2.00/1 coupons for maximum savings. This is of course optional – but will allow you to save more.

4. Once you see your account has been credited (about one week), purchase $49.00 worth of diapers. You can normally do this with 7 packages at $9.99. By doing so you will get free shipping.

5. When you checkout, use the code MARKBABY and get $10.00 off of your order.

6. When the banner comes up for the Free Parenting Magazine, click this. When the form comes up, you can opt out of the subscription and get a $14.97 rebate instead. You must do this right away or you won’t get this rebate.
