MENU PLAN

  • Sunday:  Hamburger onion pie,  green beans and rolls
  • Monday:  Patty Melts and veggies
  • Tuesday:  Tacos
  • Wednesday:  Leftovers
  • Thursday:  Grilled chicken, steamed broccoli and rice
  • Friday:  Dinner Out
  • Saturday:  Spaghetti, salad, french bread

Hamburger Onion Pie Recipe

1 cup Bisquick
1/3  cup evaporated milk
1 lb ground beef
1-2 med onions chopped
1 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp Accent (optional)
2 Tbs Bisquick
2 eggs – beaten
1 cup small curd cottage cheese

Mix first two ingredients.  Knead for about 30 seconds to 1 minute.  Roll into a pie plate.

Cook the beef and onions.  Add in salt, pepper and Accent.  Once it is nearly brown, stir in the additional Bisquick.  Put mixture into pie shell.

Combine the eggs and cottage cheese.  Spread over the top of the meat mixture.  Bake at 375 for 30 minutes.
