What To Do This Weekend in Kansas City

Time for another weekend, which means time to try to do some things as a family (especially while the weather is so nice)! Here are a few things I have tracked down for you to take part in:

Safety Day at the Farmstead (Deanna Rose Farmstead)
10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Admission: Free will offering

Take your kids and let them sit behind the steering wheel of a REAL police cruiser, or let them see a firetruck up close! While you are there, you can have your own car seats inspected to be sure that they haven’t been recalled as well as to ensure you have them properly installed. For more details and directions, go here.

Movie in the Park: Hotel for Dogs
8:00 p.m.
Raonoke Park, Kansas City, MO

Grab your blankets, chairs (and possibly even a jacket) and get ready to enjoy a movie under the stars. Don’t forget the popcorn!!!

Nothing big on the calendar, but it would be a great day to have a picnic in one of the MANY parks around the city.

Perhaps you can just go for a walk down on the plaza to check out some of the amazing fountains.

You could even have an improptu BBQ with the neighbors to catch up, visit and just relax.

Thanks KC Parent!
