The end of the school year brings lazy days, summer camps and a break from busy schedules. It makes parents often wonder – what in the world can we do this summer?  After all, it doesn’t take too long for the boredom to set in.

That happens here – within a few days into summer break. Nothing is more annoying than hearing the words, “Mom – I’m bored!”  That’s why I created this list of 101 things you can do with your kids this summer!  We’ve got most of these on our summer bucket list – and can’t wait!

1.  Catch fireflies.
2.  Go to the pool.
3.  Make S’mores.
4.  Eat Popsicles.
5.  Camp in the backyard.
6.  Draw with sidewalk chalk.
7.  Go on a nature walk.
8.  Stargaze.
9.  Go for a bike ride.
10.  Go on a hike.
11.  Visit your closest retirement home – bring along homemade cards.
12.  Visit the library.
13.  Make a movie day (perfect for a rainy day).
14.  Go to the park or playground.
15.  Visit an amusement park.
16.  Check out a baseball game (use these tricks to save money).
17.  Make mud pies.
18.  Splash in puddles.
19.  Visit a museum.
20.  Go to your local farmer’s market.
21.  Play board games.
22.  Plan and go on a picnic.
23.  Hoola Hoop and jump rope.
24.  Play hopscotch.
25.  Have a car wash.
26.  Set up a lemonade stand (this is the most incredible recipe for strawberry lemonade)

    Roller skate. Most Rinks offer kind skate free program at kidsskatefree.com

      Go to the movies (check with your local theatre for their free or $1.00 summer movie schedule).

    Play Jenga using only your feet. My kids call it Toejenga and invented it for our family night when I was 8 months pregnant… yeah, we got a lot of laughs that night!

    Have a food challenge, Make then sell artwork and/or crafts. Do at least one random act of kindness daily.

    Go Ice skating! Great fun & a great place to beat the heat! Our rink is open all year. My kids do figure skating & speedskating.

    Have an electronics free day!!! Totally free of all devices and internet!!! Do yoga instead or 100 things on this list to stay busy!!!
