If you have a child who wears any Carter’s clothing, you will want to go and check this out. When the clothes from the Fall 2007 line were manufactured, a specific label was used on the garments. These have caused some irritation for some children – not all of them. It is not toxic by ANY means, but Carter’s, in being the stand up company they are, are issuing refunds for all items that are returned to them.
Be sure to be careful and pay attention to the label on the garments to see if they qualify or not for the refund. The picture is in the link above. You will also find the 800# to call. Here is what they will ask you:
1. How did you hear about this?
2. Did your child have any reaction at all?
3. Approximately how many articles do you have to return?
Then, they will take your name and number and mail the packaging to you the next day. When you get it and send it in, it will take them about 2-3 weeks and they will mail you a CHECK for the total retail price of your items. Be sure to include your name on the outside and inside of the envelope or box as well.
So, start digging through those rubbermaid bins and boxes and see what you can find. You just might scrape up enough money to pay for….what else…..MORE CLOTHES!!!!
