Sometimes mom just needs a little something to call her own! These glitter wine glasses are super easy to make and a ton of fun. You can make this customized wine glass for your “queen mom” to use or to display as a decoration.

Mom deserves to be treated like a queen all year long, but especially on Mother’s Day!  If she loves her wine, then this glass would make a perfect gift!

You can use any colors you want to make a mom wine glass just for her!  We said “Mom – A Title Just Above Queen,” but you can put any saying you would like on your glass.  Pick up a bottle of her favorite wine and you’ll have a unique, personalized gift idea for her for Mother’s Day this year!

GLITTER WINE GLASS DIY

SUPPLIES

Wine Glass
Paper towels
Mod Podge
Glitter
Sponge paint brush
Paper towels
Silhouette or Cricut Machine
Vinyl (color of choice)
Ribbon (optional)

DIRECTIONS

Place a paper towel directly under your wine glass.  Starting from the top of the stem, generously paint a coat of mod podge. Then, evenly pour the glitter over the painted section and allow to dry for at least 15 minutes.  Once dry, add a second coat of mod podge and more glitter.  Allow it to dry for at least 20 minutes.

Fold your paper towel in half and pour excess glitter back into the container.  Then, seal the glitter onto the glass by painting one final coat of mod podge over the top.  This time, let it sit for at least 30 minutes.

You can then make any design you want!  To make the same one here, type what you want on the glass.  We used Lucida Calligraphy in size 79 for the words Mom and Queen.  The rest of the text is in Centaur in size 49.  You can find any crown design to add to your glass.

Cut out the vinyl with your Cricut or Silhouette machine.  If you do not own one, you can still trace a design onto the vinyl and cut it out with scissors. Attach the words and images to your glass and you are done! You can add a ribbon or other embellishment to finish the look.

These can be used for not only Mother’s Day, but also bridal showers, anniversaries, or even weddings.  The gift ideas go on and on!
