Cut your ribbon scraps into 3″ – 4″ sections. Tie them snugly along the twig until you have about an inch left at the bottom of the twig to form the “trunk.” Use your scissors and trip the ribbon from the bottom up, in the shape of a Christmas tree (wider at the bottom, and thinner at the top.) No worries about being perfect here, as this craft is pretty forgiving.
To attach the ornament hook, slide the bottom of the hook under the knot of the top ribbon the tree. There’s really not a right or wrong way to do this, so don’t worry about messing it up. Once you’ve attached your hook, your ornament is finished and ready to help spread Christmas cheer!
These would be pretty in lots of different colors. What colors will you use?
