Meatloaf is one of those dishes to which many turn up their noses. I will agree that most I’ve tried are mushy and lack any flavor at all. And, the worst part about many of them is the “ketchup glaze” that is put on the top when baked. I personally can’t stomach those types.
I can, however, eat this one. It has absolutely NO ketchup in or on it at all. It combines a few simple ingredients and comes together to make a flavorful dish, which is one of my family’s favorites! I always pair it with my cheezy potatoes recipe to make a delicious meal for my family! It is truly one of our Sunday meal favorites!
2 lb of ground beef (can use turkey if you wish)
1 pkg of dried onion soup mix (Lipton or store brand)
1/3 cup warm water
12 – 15 soda crackers
Dash of pepper, garlic, and onion powder
Combine all items and mix well. You can add more water if you need to if it is not blending well. Bake at 350 for 1 hour! Serve and enjoy!
